This Privacy Policy explains how FinSense, developed by Abison John, handles information when you use the FinSense mobile application, Web Manager and this website.
Information stored by FinSense
FinSense stores the financial records you create—such as accounts, transactions, categories, budgets, debts, preferences and backup settings—locally on your device. This information is used to provide the app’s money-management features.
When you create or restore a backup, the backup file is handled at your direction through your device’s file and sharing tools. You are responsible for where you save or share that file.
Optional device permissions
FinSense requests permissions only when a related feature needs them. You can decline optional permissions or revoke them from your device settings, although the related feature may then be unavailable.
- SMS (Android): when enabled, FinSense can detect newly received financial alerts, extract supported transaction details and prepare or create local transaction records. FinSense does not use this permission to read your existing inbox.
- Contacts: when you choose to select a person while creating a debtor or creditor, FinSense can use contact details you select.
- Location: when you choose to attach a location to a transaction, FinSense can request your device location for that entry.
- Local network and Wi-Fi information: when you enable Web Manager, FinSense uses your local network so you can access the app from a supported browser on the same network.
Advertising
The free version of FinSense may display ads provided by Google AdMob. Google and its partners may process device identifiers, advertising data, approximate location inferred from network information, diagnostics and interaction data in accordance with your consent choices and Google’s policies. Where required, FinSense presents Google’s consent and privacy-choice controls. Premium users do not see ads.

Purchases
FinSense Premium purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple’s App Store, depending on your device. FinSense receives purchase status and entitlement information needed to unlock or restore Premium. Payment-card details are handled by the applicable store and are not provided to FinSense.
Web Manager
Web Manager runs from your device over your local network when you explicitly enable it. Devices with the session address and required access details may be able to view or manage the data exposed by Web Manager while it is running. Use it only on a network and devices you trust, and disable it when finished.
Data sharing and sale
FinSense does not sell your personal financial records. Information may be processed by service providers only where needed for advertising, consent management, app-store purchases or platform operation, subject to their respective privacy terms and your available choices.
Data retention and deletion
Financial records remain on your device until you edit them, use the in-app data reset option, clear the app’s storage or uninstall FinSense. Files you exported or shared must be deleted separately from the location where you saved them. Third-party services retain information under their own policies.
Security
FinSense uses reasonable technical measures intended to protect app data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so keep your device protected, use Web Manager only on trusted networks and store exported backup files carefully.
Children’s privacy
FinSense is a general-audience personal finance tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly design the service to collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when FinSense features, legal requirements or service providers change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
